HANGING OUT WITH GOD (H.O.W.G.) # 6

Just
talked to a lady for which I performed a wedding service several
years ago. That marriage failed. Her third. And now, she says
that she is afraid to "try again" but yet doesn't want to be alone as
she ages. She especially feels this sense of aloneness as her mother just
passed over to the "other side."
Again,
as in numerology, one has to reduce things to their basic component.
One has to combine digits to a single vibration. True, too, for the word
"alone" - except that in this case one has to go to the cosmic
essence - which is "all one."
From
the "One" expansion occurs: i.e. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and then 10
(which reduces to a one - zeroes mean nothing but amplification of the original
energy).
Back
to the point: Out heart's yearn to be "in love;" to find the
special someone who is our "vibrational match" - our
"soul-mate."
Gosh
darn it! Now think about this. What we really seek is "ourselves"
- our "other half." (As if we could be fragmented and not
be whole in ourselves.)
When
we find that "certain someone" (partner, significant other) we feel
all the tender emotions, excitement, and romance that our soul craves.
Let me emphasize that: We feel.
Where
does the love originate? Where do the feelings come from? Within
us! "I feel" (good, happy, tingly, etc.) because of you -
for you. But it is I that feels. The love is within
me. I can focus that love on another person, or object. i.e. I feel
love for my dog. (I love my dog). But, the love is within
me. And God (the One) is Love.
In
essence, when we love, we allow (and recognize) God to be God in us.
Wherever we direct that energy becomes our "beloved" - for that
moment in time.
Other
things can draw forth that exquisite energy: Music, beauty,
the sweetness of others.
The
Kingdom of God, which is within us, is within us. (Luke
17:21 - King James Version)
Love
is within us. Whether it has a focal point is not the question. We
can feel the fullness of love - within ourselves. No one need feel left
out.
If
one has not met the outer stimulant that allows us to feel that intoxicating
condition - the outer never caused it anyway. It was within us all the
time. We just let it come forth.
The
big question for me is that I do not believe this awareness gives us
permission to act as a 'barnyard animal" and get sexual, or romantic,
"highs" with everyone. All people are to be loved;
universally, cosmically. Partnership has a sweetness to it that
comes with dedication and commitment. (And integrity).
The
word "adultery" means "to pollute;" to not keep
an essence pure, but to mix with various soiling ingredients. In our
society, those "soiling" ingredients cause infection with S.T.D.s
physically, and guilt and psychological "stains" on the soul
emotionally. (Which in turn lead to cancers and other diseases of the
reproductive organs. Old-time metaphysical analysis.)
Terrible paradox: repression of life-producing desires can lead to
these same conditions as well.
Probably
why St. Paul said that it was better to marry than to burn (hot as a cat on a
hot tin roof). Which leads to a whole new "can of worms."
Stated
so well by Socrates: "If one is well-married - then one is
happy; If not - one becomes a philosopher." (He had a shrewish
wife named Xantippe.)

A
few years ago, there was a popular song: "Betty Davis
Eyes." Newly-arrived souls to the planet will ask, "Betty
who?" Betty Davis was a well-known actress of the last century who
had unusual, heavily-lidded eyes.
All
of this is leading where? Yesterday I had "Picasso Eyes."
You do remember Picasso, do you not? The master of "modern art"
(weird) who painted the world in cubes, squares, and triangles. To him,
all was asymmetrical. In his paintings, one eye was lower than the other
(breasts, too).
For
the first time I understood that distortion. I had a cataract removed
from my left eye yesterday. When the doctor removed the bandage, I saw
the world as angles and cubes. And expanded. I saw two of my
daughter, Missy; one sitting where I knew her to be. Another, smaller
Missy, sitting to her left.
As
Ron Weasley would say in Harry Potter: "Wicked!"
(I would say, "Definitely Strange.")
I
have never wanted to see the world distorted. Never wanted my mind to be
altered artificially. (It's a bit bizarre all by itself.) :o)
Sweet
relief to find that this "illusion of form" is behaving itself better
today. Or at least, my eye is.

Can
see - and not see. Can be - and not be. Such weighty matters.

Was
watching my great granddaughter, Brianna, take nourishment from her mother's
breast and I thought how much that teaches us of our relationship to
Spirit. When we are wounded in some respect, we want to draw close to our
Mother - God; Draw "Love-drops" into our soul (which is
a "Love drop" from the Heart of God). We seek comfort, healing,
peace, shalom (completeness). We instinctively know that All-Good is
found in God.
Once
Jesus was teaching and a woman from the crowd called out:
"Blessed are the pap's that gave you suck." (Blessed are
the breasts that fed and nourished you.) (Luke 11:27) Jesus replied
that the blessed are those who hear God speak to them and do what they
hear.
It's
one thing to swallow milk; another to absorb it. We have a more-or-less
unconscious digestive system which handles that process. Of course, in
our society so many people cannot digest the things that they have drawn into
their lives and they constantly dose themselves with anti-acids: i.e.
Rolaids, Tums, Pepto-Bismol, Alka-Seltzer, Zantac, and
Pepcid. I used to be that way, too. Eventually even the
anti-acid remedy causes discomfort.
From whence
comes the painful acid; the burning throat and the wounded esophagus? Try
thinking deeply-seated anger; resentment; fear; judgement. It may
"ring a bell." (On the other hand, don't try it. It
hurts.)
So
much more soothing and comforting to feast on "nectar" -
God-food. One touch of the Cosmic Essence and all is well.
I have
a print of a painting by Michelangelo. The original is found on
the ceiling in the Sistine Chapel in Rome: the finger of God reaching out
to touch the finger of Adam - yet, they never connect. I call it "the
story of man-kind." (Or, "the story of man-blind.")
That disconnect is responsible for all of the ills of the world; a real
"Pandora's Box."
That
print reminds me that God is always there waiting to reconnect;
Constantly beaming the message to us: "E. T. - phone
home." That's one line that is never blown down by storms, nor overloaded.
The circuits are always open.
Take
the time to gulp that nectar if thirsty (or sweetly sip it if your soul is
already at peace.)
"God
is the vine; ye are the branches." (John 15:5) Nourish - and
flourish!

The
heart is like unto a geode. When it breaks, is "cracked
open," a fairyland of beauty emerges; quartz crystals, amethyst
crystals, patterns of wonder. No one would have suspected by looking
at that hard, gray rock that it masked such great beauty.
How
about your heart?

Power
of Rin - Power of Logos. A magical secret - in plain sight.
The
movie, "The Secret," is about the Law of Attraction. Big
"hype" - ancient knowledge. It is the "In"
thing" for this moment in time; this "Parenthesis in
Eternity." As we ascend the "Ladder of God-energy there will be
other "In" things. All good! (Oh these "new
discoveries.") :o)

Wow!
A migraine - without the pain. Either that or a sudden light explosion.
No
hurting - but so much light. (I actually tried to type this H.O.W.G. on
the computer with the dark glasses from last week. It didn't work very
well.)
So,
I canceled my appointment with someone this afternoon - and now I really
feel bad. I let someone down who was counting on me. I have come to
realize that I do not live for myself alone; I'm here to channel Holy Spirit
when needed. (Sigh - Guilt Trip!)
I
mean, how gracious can Spirit be? Flashes of light (a migraine) and no
nausea and no excruciating pain? (Actually, I have never had one, but
have been with others who have.)
I
guess it's time to say "Thank you, Spirit." And take a
nap. :o)
Is
this what enlightenment is all about? Yikes!

Later:
Ha!
Joke is on - me. The lady showed up at my door for her
appointment. She didn't get the message. (Was that God I heard
chuckling? "Not your will, but Mine be done.)
At
least I don't feel so badly now.

Sensory
pleasures last only for the instant of gratification - the moment. The
residual effects are often long-lasting, through many painful moments (and
days, weeks, months, years, and sometimes lifetimes).
They
are like unto a bomb which explodes instantly in a big bang - but the
devastation can be horrendous. The effects can be the foundation of
illnesses: psychological, physical, mental, emotional, and even psychic.
What
are the "pleasures?" (?) Alcohol, drugs, food, sex,
cigarettes in the physical world -
Addictions.
You surely know what they cause, do you not?

I
was awakened at 4:00 A.M. on August 15 and told to write this down. It
came before the preceding message and I was told to add it on. It is
for someone - I don't know who. I'm just the messenger. I thought
this was somewhat questionable, not in "good taste," but Spirit said
that S/He doesn't think the things we do are always in good taste
either (though they may "taste good" at the time). So here
goes:
HELP PREVENT AIDS
For
men:
DON'T TAKE A CHANCE
KEEP IT IN YOUR PANTS
********************************************************************
For
ladies: WHEN
PASSION HAS YOU ALL AGLOW
DON'T PLAY THE FOOL - JUST SAY NO!
These
will not appear on our church signboard, though a couple of people last night
said they should be on some around town.
A
little something for
everyone!
:o) (I think)
